After reading the Huffington Post and New York Times, listening to Colmes on the radio, watching MSNBC, CNN and ABC, I realized that I may be a very sick individual and may need help getting rehabilitated. I believe the first step is to fess up to my sins so here goes:
- Yes, I do believe in the Constitution of the United States including the Bill of Rights.
- Yes, I did and do support the tea parties even though I did not get to attend because I was ill but my intent is to go to future events.
- Yes, I do believe that the least amount of government possible is the best government possible.
- Yes, I do believe that global warming is just a ruse perpetuated by persons lacking in integrity, who have used scare tactics and bad science to build financial nest eggs for themselves. Case in point: Al Gore - wow what an increase in net worth and why did he buy a beach house when global warming is going to cause the seas to rise and...
- Yes, I do not want government involved in my healthcare.
- Yes, I believe Cap and Trade would make a great farcical reading if it were not being taken seriously and at the cost of our communities, our livelihoods, our nations.
- Yes, I believe that our Congressional members should be required to not only read the bills they vote on but be able to sit down and explain what it is that they are passing. Our Constitution is how many pages and it rules a country? And the Cap and Trade bill was over 1300 pages long and it does what?
- Yes, I do believe that NOBODY or NO BUSINESS is too big to fail. If they are failing it is because they are not doing a good job and they need to go away.
- Yes, I do believe that government cafe standards etc were a major contributor to the demise of GM.
- Yes, I will not buy a car from the US Government Motors. I will buy Ford or even go to an import first - how about KIA.
- Yes, I believe that the Federal Reserve Bank is unconstitutional and should be disbanded.
- Yes, I do think that NancyPelosi is a power monger who would stick a knife in anyone's back if it meant she gets her way.
- Yes, I do believe that nothing is free - if government gives you something you are going to pay - with your pocketbook or with your freedom - or maybe both.
- Yes, I believe in Main Street and not Wall Street.
- Yes, I believe in the family farm and the joy of eating local produce.
- Yes, I believe that we should develop clean coal to help me run my air conditioner.
- Yes, I believe that owning a gun is my right.
- Yes, I believe that the Federal government has forgotten about the the 9th and 10th Amendments to the Constitution.
- Yes, I believe that Congress should have to live under the very rules that they want to apply to our lives. In fact, they should go on them as guinea pigs to test it out. Taxing the rich (Pelosi gives up her salary and her personal plane - and oh yeah she has to get her care only through medicare, medicaide or the Veteran's Administration under a false name so she does not get special treatment.)

As these are just a few of my horrible disabilities, I believe that those enlightened liberals might want to help me out - to save me from myself. And since I believe that you should work for what you get and "they" seem to be saying that it is a much greater thing to share your wealth with those who don't work or won't work, I am ripe for assistance. So if you are liberal and want to show your support for your standards, you can send me cash, checks or money orders so that I will not have to work. Of course, these contributions are in no way tax deductible because you like paying taxes. But if you send enough, perhaps I will learn to get on the gravy train and gladly down the kool-aid.
